Reflection: Tammy Wingo Photography is a self-run photography business that offers wedding photography, event photography, family portraits, senior portraits, and print packages. Run by Mrs. Tammy Wingo herself, this business has been a success for several years. Tammy will book her clients months in advance for photo sessions and edit the pictures on her own software. Her studio is run from her home, but she has a location in Raleigh where she has prints made for her clients. Tammy has a wide client range. She photographs brides, babies, families, high school seniors, and mothers-to-be! Tammy also keeps an updated blog and website for her clients, their families, and future clients to view her work and her contact information. Her website is: http://tammywingo.com/ and her blog can be reached via her website or at http://tammywingo.squarespace.com/
I am just starting this internship with Tammy, but I already love it! We have photographed a bridal session and a wedding for a very special bride named Paige. She was such a sweet bride and I loved every minute of her session and wedding. My co-intern, Hannah, was not able to make it to this wedding, so Tammy asked one of her prior AOIT interns, Marie, to come along to the wedding. It was great having Marie there to help me show me how to do everything behind the scenes, as it is difficult for Tammy to stop her photographing to teach me. We jumped right into our first wedding at the beginning of the internship, so I know that I am going to have to learn by experience. I’m looking forward to editing her pictures very soon!
